Valentine's day is coming up, a day not only for lovers, but rather a day of love, and all kinds of love should be celebrated. I have compiled a list of my favorite Amazon picks to gift to someone special in your life whether it's your mother, sister, or significant other. These are my favorite Amazon finds that would make the perfect Valentine's Day gifts.
This complication of gifts consists of some affordable options as well as some high end skincare options. I especially love this glamorous satin kimono robe with the feather detail for under $50. I'm a Florida girl so sandals all year round is a must, these Mystique crystal sandal dupes are perfect. I wear house slippers everyday and having a cute pair that I got as a gift for Valentine's day would be so cute. House slippers are always a good gift idea and these cozy velvet house slippers are gorgeous and very affordable.
Here is a list of all of the individual links to the items:
Rhinestone Sandal - Mystique Dupe
Sterling Silver Mother of Pearl earrings - Van Cleef dupe
Sterling Silver Cubic Zirconia initial earrings

If you’re looking for fashionable statement pieces, look no further. Nigerian fashion designer Andrea Dumebi Imayah has found a way to seamlessly collide the world of fashion and nature. I discovered this clothing line after scrolling through my phone and gasping when the stunning yellow, lemon embellished two piece bikini popped up on my screen.
I immediately screenshot it and started searching for an online store where I could buy it immediately. Unfortunately for me that particular bikini was from a few seasons prior so it was sold out everywhere that I looked. Talk about disappointing. I did find the official Andrea Iyamah website and found all of her other gorgeous and unique designs and I fell in love. She is definitely a designer to keep your eyes on and support. I appreciate real artists who are passionate about their craft and Andrea is just that, a true talent.
On the box it's stated that the FlexStyle uses Coanda Technology, which is the same effect Dyson uses. This Coanda Technology creates a vortex of air inside its 1.25-inch curling barrel that draws hair that wraps around it automatically which forms and retains the curl. Both the Dyson and the Shark use less heat because there is no need for a hot barrel to force hair into the desired curled shape.
I love living in Florida. I recently moved to South West, Florida after living in South Florida for close to 20 years. It's definitely been a change. Life on this coast is slower, and more laid back. We're happier and excited to begin our lives here on this coast of Florida, and to continue to travel the world and create memories together. We made the big move so that JJ, my 13 year old son can have the best training facilities so he can reach his dreams of becoming a professional tennis player. We are all in for him and he makes us so proud everyday.
South West Florida also covers us with sunshine and warmth year round, so I take full advantage and bring out my pink outfits as often as I can. I love to wear pink and other bright colors, hence why I'm such a big fan of Lilly Pulitzer. These shorts were a huge score for me off Poshmark a few months ago. These shorts are by the design house Zimmermann, and are still selling in some stores and retail on sale for around $300. I paid nowhere near that for these and found them at a great price from an awesome seller on Poshmark.
One complaint I dol have about such expensive shorts is that the zipper is so thin and did separate once when I was wearing them. Thank goodness for the belt that held these shorts up! The defect had nothing to do with the seller, but more to do with the fact that the zipper quality just isn't the greatest. I'm sure you agree about the low quality of these popularly used extremely thin plastic invisible zippers. I'd rather have a metal zipper, even if it shows. I'd like to know that I got a secure zip up and it won't separate while I'm wearing them. These shorts aren't even tight on me, in fact they're quite baggy and a nice comfortable loose fit. I am happy I took them to an alterations place and had a much sturdier metal zipper sewn into these.
A favorite recent brand of mine is Hemant and Nandita. This designer line of women's clothing is romantic and marvelous with deigns inspired from the colors and beauty of Indian culture. I have accumulated a few pieces from their collections and I can't wait for a good time to wear them, but with the kids' schedules, and a busy schedule myself as a housewife, I never have worm them yet! It felt nice to find some time to put makeup on and dress up for an afternoon lunch with my husband.
You can find Hemant and Nandito for sale at various retails such as Sake Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale's, Revolve, and also aftermarket retailers like the Real Real.
The dress that I am wearing in this post is not new. It's actually from several collections ago but I liked the colors and the metallic thread details in the fabric. I bought it off another fashion blogger on Instagram when she was cleaning some things out of her closet. Hey, I'm all for a good deal and I sure did get one on this dress which would have retailed for close to $300. A quick google search can lead you to find this dress for sale, but at the time it will more than likely be gently used. If you are looking for a budget friendly version, I found a dupe on Amazon. You can find it by clicking the link to my storefront and shopping under Fashion. Shop my Amazon favorites here!
I love this dress and the flattering cut, it's just a tad short on me, so I had to pair it up with some biker shorts underneath. The scrunched wait is adorable, but does ride up a bit making the bottom of the dress even shorter, so thank goodness for biker shorts! I'm a tall girl so, short dresses seem ever shorter on me. Keep that in mind if you're shopping for this dress for yourself.
This past weekend I got to have a girls trip with my former co-worker turned friend, Rachel. We planned this trip for a few weeks and were so excited to eat and drink around the world at Disney World's Epcot. We wasted no time getting right to it by marching right to Mexico to grab margaritas and get the day started. I wish I had taken more photos of the things that I got to eat, but then again it wasn't all that much. I did really enjoy the France pavilion and the boulangerie hidden deep in the streets of France. I got myself a ham and cheese sandwich with a French twist, and a strawberry tart from there and I wanted to go back for seconds. The sandwich was perfect, the bread was a dream, and the strawberry tart was just the perfect finisher.
We had so much fun taking photos and using my Annual Pass photo pass to have the professional photographer on site snap pics of us and pose us! With the photo pass option you have hidden gems and surprises like this Iago that can be superimposed on your photo when it loads into your Disney World app account.
