Our recent visit to EPCOT at Walt Disney World was nothing short of magical, perfectly timed with the commencement of the 2025 EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival.Running from March 5 to June 2, 2025, this festival celebrates its 30th anniversary, transforming the park into a vibrant tapestry of blooms, topiaries, and culinary delights. Our day at EPCOT was filled with laughter, learning, and a deep appreciation for the beauty around us.
This Valentine’s Day, we decided to sprinkle a little extra magic into our celebrations by heading to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. It was a day filled with laughter, friendship, and unforgettable memories. Plus, the girls were dressed in the most adorable matching outfits from DreamyThreads.com, also found on Instagram @DreamyThreads. Their coordinating dresses added a special touch to our day, making every photo we snapped even more picture-perfect!
If there’s one thing our family loves, it’s a day at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Thanks to our annual passes, we have the privilege of popping in whenever we want—and this last visit was one for the books! From Buzz Lightyear dresses to intergalactic adventures, Sofia (our little Disney princess) had a day full of magic, and giggles.
Another fantastic evening at Disney Springs! As a Passholder, I get to visit the parks all the time, and I absolutely love how easy it is to swing by Disney Springs after a fun day at the parks. It’s the perfect place to wind down with some shopping, great food, and, of course, a little Disney magic.
Today was a day filled with adventure and excitement as we visited Disney's Animal Kingdom with our daughter Sofia. Despite her initial hesitation about taking photos with Mickey and Minnie, Sofia quickly found herself captivated by the wonders of the park. From thrilling rides to up-close encounters with exotic animals, our trip was nothing short of magical.
Barcelona, Spain was the second and final stop on our overseas family vacation for the summer of 2018. What a city Barcelona is! We fell in love as soon as the Barcelona sun touched our smiling faces. I say this because our first night in Barcelona was not so pleasant, and I'll tell you about our experience so that you know what to expect in case you arrive to this beautiful city on an evening flight.
My family has become the "just go see the beauty in the world" family, and we have been making it a goal of ours to get out there and create memories together. Visiting Miami in the near future on a family trip? Bring the family to the Frost Museum of Science in the heart of downtown Miami. Make sure you plan to spend a while here at this museum as it houses many beautiful exhibits for children to enjoy and interact with. My son was particularly fascinated by the huge tanks that hold sharks, rays, and fish along with the local florida animal habitats that are on the top floor of the building.
Paris has been on my radar for as long as I can remember and when I finally landed in this dreamy place, I shed tears of joy. I couldn't believe that I had finally made one of my biggest wishes come true and I got to enjoy it all with my husband and our son. Paris stole my heart and I can't wait to return and enjoy the city for a longer period of time. Wynwood is a district in Miami dedicated to art and fashion. It's pretty much an outdoor museum lined with beautiful colorful murals created by some of the world's best known street artists. You can also find the streets of Wynwood lined with art galleries showcasing some very expensive art for sale. A popular time to visit Wynwood is during the second Saturday of every month, during Wynwood Art Walk. Art Basel, an annual global arts fair, is another very popular time for visiting Wynwood.
Today, my family and I decided to go explore Wynwood and take in the scenery. We enjoyed tacos at Coyo Taco on the Main Street in the center of Wynwood and walked around taking in the walls. We entered the main Wynwood Walls art exhibit and enjoyed the indoor gallery as well. Some excerpts from the failed Taj Mahal casino in Atlantic City were on display and it was interesting to read about the backstory behind the artists vision for this exhibit.
Here are some photos we took on our family vacation to Rome during the summer of 2017. We decided that we will start a tradition of traveling out of the US every summer. Jerrid and I want our son to be able to experience the world. There is no better learning experience than to travel and explore the world around you first hand. Jerrid and I have been getting the travel itch for some time now, and it was just a matter of making that choice to go! Now we're hooked and have booked our summer trip for 2018 already. We can't wait!
