Shark FlexStyle Air Wrap

Everyone wants to style their hair with ease and minimal heat damage, and when the Dyson Air Wrap came out it was a hit, but that price point was just so far out there, it didn't make much sense to spend that much. Shark Beauty came to rescue with their FlexStyle Air Wrap which they released for more than half of the price of the Dyson. The Dyson will run you close to $600, where this Shark styler will only cost you around $250. The FlexStyle, which is indistinguishable from it's Dyson competitor in both performance, and design, is the clear winner for me. I don't find myself struggling to maintain the curls formed with my FlexWrap and I'm extremely happy with the results I get using it time and time again.

On the box it's stated that the FlexStyle uses Coanda Technology, which is the same effect Dyson uses. This Coanda Technology creates a vortex of air inside its 1.25-inch curling barrel that draws hair that wraps around it automatically which forms and retains the curl. Both the Dyson and the Shark use less heat because there is no need for a hot barrel to force hair into the desired curled shape.

To get the best results, you should dry your hair to about 70% dry. The Shark FlexStyle Air Wrap is unique because it also doubles as a bow dryer. You just turn the top of the dryer to an angle and create the blow dryer feature with the shape of an everyday blow dryer. You then twist the barrel back up and attach the barrels you want for your desired curl look.

Using the FlexStyle in the blow dryer feature. It's important to get your hair to about 70% dry before using the curl shaping barrels. The kit comes with 2 barrels, one that blows the hair into the left direction around the barrel, and one that goes the other way. It's also important to play around and learn how you like your curls to be so you know when and how to use each barrel.
